Columbia Business School

Before coming to The Rhode Island School of Design, I worked for over ten years at Columbia Business School. While at Columbia I held a number of positions all of which form a logical trajectory that concluded with my time as the Senior Associate Director in the Communications department focused on the School's Web presence. As you might imagine I worked on several different facets of the experience: information architecture, information design, web strategy, visual design in a number of different forms: websites, kiosks, mobile applications, dvd menus, and email. A number of initiatives: social media, video, content management, blogging, and analytics.

My focus was on developing ways to ensure that organizational goals were elegantly resolved while meeting user needs. This played out in a variety of ways from restructuring content across sites and on pages, to proposing new strategies for engagement. I played a key role in the creation of social media, video, analytics, and content management initiatives.
